  • 1) That Council adopt the minutes of April 24, 2024, as circulated.

  • 1) That Council adopt the minutes of May 1, 2024, as circulated.

  • 1) That Council adopt the recommendations contained in Option A and not consider the request to remove the sidewalks on Hoppington Avenue and Firbank Lane. 

  • 1) That Council approve the application submitted by the Owner to extend the Employment Extractive Exception Three Zone (Temporary) [EX(3)(t)] on the property at 14245 & 14395 Ninth Line, which permits all uses outlined through the EX Zone-permissions, in addition to a Granular Stockpile / Depot, Road Salt Storage / Depot, Topsoil Stockpile / Depot, and Accessory buildings and structures, for a period of up to three (3) years until May 15, 2027; and

    2)That Council enact By-Law No. 2024-058-ZO, being a By-Law to amend by-law 2021-069-ZO.

  • 1) That Council direct staff to issue a Notice of Decision to draft approve Subdivision File No. 19T(W)-22.001, subject to the conditions of draft plan approval as set out in Attachment 3 to Report No. DS-021-24, in accordance with Section 51(31) of the Planning Act; and

    2) That Council enact By-law 2024-059-ZO being a by-law to amend the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2010-001-ZO by applying site-specific zones and direct staff to issue a Notice of Passing; and

    3) That Council confirm that notwithstanding that the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment as attached to this report is different from the Zoning By-law Amendment proposed at the September 28, 2022 Statutory Public Meeting, the revisions are minor in nature and that no further Statutory Public Meeting is required.

  • 1) That Council direct staff to issue a Notice of Decision to approve Subdivision File No. 19T(W)-22.007, subject to the conditions as set out in Attachment 3 to this Report, in accordance with Section 51(31) and 51(37) of the Planning Act; 

    2) That Council approve Draft Plan of Condominium File No. CDM22.003, subject to the conditions as set out in Attachment 4 to this Report, and direct staff to issue a Notice of Decision in accordance with Section 51(37) of the Planning Act, 1990;

    3) That Council enact By-Law No. 2024-060-ZO, being a By-Law to implement the development File No. ZBA22.017, and direct staff to issue a Notice of Passing; and,

    4) That Council confirm that notwithstanding that the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment is different from the Zoning By-law proposed at the September 27, 2023 Statutory Public Meeting, the revisions are minor in nature and that no further Statutory Public Meeting is required.

  • 1) That Council direct staff to issue a Notice of Decision to approve Subdivision File No. 19T(W)-22.006, subject to the conditions as set out in Attachment 3 to this Report, in accordance with Section 51(31) and 51(37) of the Planning Act;

    2) That Council approve Draft Plan of Condominium File No. CDM22.002, subject to the conditions as set out in Attachment 4 to this Report, and direct staff to issue a Notice of Decision in accordance with Section 51(31) and Section 51(37) of the Planning Act, 1990;

    3) That Council enact By-Law No. 2024-061-ZO, being a By-Law to implement the development File No. ZBA22.016, and direct staff to issue a Notice of Passing; and,

    4) That Council confirm that notwithstanding that the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment is different from that proposed at the September 27, 2023 Statutory Public Meeting, the revisions are minor in nature and that no further Statutory Public Meeting is required.

  • WHEREAS the transportation network provides connectivity for residents, businesses, and visitors across the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville; and

    WHEREAS stop signs are used to safely control the flow of traffic at intersections; and

    WHEREAS the safety of Whitchurch-Stouffville residents, including motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians, especially children, is a primary importance; and

    WHEREAS Glad Park Avenue and John Davis Gate form a 4-legged intersection; and

    WHEREAS stop signs are currently installed on two (2) legs of the intersection, namely, on John Davis Gate; and

    WHEREAS this stretch of Glad Park Avenue, that is of extensive length with no traffic control and in a high-density area, where speeding traffic is a major concern for families; and

    WHEREAS there are two elementary schools in the vicinity, St. Mark Catholic Elementary School, and Glad Park Public School, which generates large amounts of children foot traffic;

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT staff be directed to install stop signs on John Davis Gate at the intersection of Glad Park Avenue and John Davis Gate as soon as possible.

BEING A BY-LAW to amend By-Law 2010-001-ZO of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (Comprehensive Zoning By-Law) as amended for the lands located at 5481 and 5551 Bethesda Sideroad (DS-021-24).

BEING A BY‐LAW to amend By‐law 2010‐001‐ZO of the Town of Whitchurch‐Stouffville (Comprehensive Zoning By‐law) for the lands located at 316, 328, 340, 352, 364, 376, and 386 Cam Fella Boulevard (DS-022-24).

BEING A BY‐LAW to amend By‐law 2010‐001‐ZO of the Town of Whitchurch‐Stouffville (Comprehensive Zoning By‐law) for the lands located at 268, 276, 284, and 296 Cam Fella Boulevard (DS-023-24).

BEING A BY-LAW to appoint Municipal Law Enforcement Officers, Officers, Municipal Weed Inspectors, and Licensing Officers for The Corporation of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and repeal By-law 2024-052-AP.
